Apple Cider Doughnuts
Serves 6 | 1 hour
Directions:
- Add apple cider to a pot over high heat. Once boiling, reduce the heat to medium and simmer until reduced to ½ cup—about 15–20 minutes. Let cool.
- Preheat oven to 350°F and get to work on your batter! Mix all the doughnut ingredients together, except the flour, until well-combined. Slowly mix in a little flour a little at a time until combined and you end up with a thick batter. Don’t worry, that’s what we want!
- Grease your doughnut pan. Divide batter evenly between doughnut cups. Bake for 15 minutes. Let cool to room temperature before glazing.
- Now it’s time for the glaze! Whisk all the glaze ingredients together in a bowl big enough to dip, and get to glazin’.
- You can also top with a simple dusting of powdered sugar.
